Croatia - Day Four
We started the day with sunbathing on top deck before we anchored for a swim stop at a little cove called Duga near Hvar.
Swimming in the Adriatic Sea was a goal/vision I had since the start of the year. It was literally breathtaking, but once I was in, I was floating. The cleanest sea in the world, incredibly salty, and so refreshing.
Next stop was Stari Grad
A tour of Tvrdalj Castle, summer residence of Petar Hektorović, a Croatian writer and poet. The castle became a shelter for local citizens when the Ottoman Turks attacked Hvar in the 16th century. This place was filled with so much beauty.
Afterwards we explored more of Stari Grad, I couldn’t believe how spotless this place was, and held so much history.
Then we had a group dinner at Antika, up in the attic, where I had the most delicious truffle pasta of my life.
